Obituary of Joseph W. Brubacher

Peacefully went to be with his Lord on October 17, 2013 at Grand River Hospital with his family at his side, age 81 years. Beloved husband of Eleanora (Bowman) for 59 years. Loving father of Verna and Larry Bauman of RR 2, Elmira, Irene and Leon Martin of Elmira, James and Fran Brubacher of Milverton, Dave and Shirley Brubacher of Elmira, Elaine and Durrell Brubacher of Newton, and Mark and Laura Brubacher of Elmira. Dear grandpa to 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Anna Kraemer of Emo, and sister-in-law Reta Brubacher of Elmira. Predeceased by his parents John and Rebecca (Wagler) Brubacher, brothers Enos and Seranus, brother-in-law David Kraemer, sister-in-law Viola Brubacher, daughter-in-law Grace Brubacher, grandson Alex Martin and great-granddaughter Destiny Martin. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Parkview Manor, 30 Florapine Road, Floradale on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Further visitation at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, 3745 Herrgott Road, Hawkesville on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery.
