Obituary of Martha Hodlyk

Hodlyk, Martha ~ (1927-2013) ~ Peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital with her family by her side. Martha was formerly of Oakville and resided at Village Manor, St. Jacobs since 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Eustachi “Stan” Hodlyk (2007). Loving mother of Cathy and Steve Morris of St. Jacobs, Linda and Mike Brazier of Oakville. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Anne-Marie and Ian Reid, Joshua Morris and Jennifer Martin, and Phillip Brazier. Martha will be especially missed by her many neighbours and friends in Oakville. A special thank you to Wes and Debbie Moore at Village Manor for all the extra care and attention given to Martha and her family, and also to her many friends at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville Road, St. Jacobs on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with our good friend Rev. Drew Maxwell and Marianne Leach Hoffer officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. The interment will take place at St. Jude’s Cemetery, Oakville on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. In Martha’s memory, donations to Village Manor, St. Jacobs would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
