Obituary of Lorene Bosomworth
Bosomworth, Alice Lorene ~ Passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens Elmira LTC on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the age of 97 years. Lorene Bosomworth (nee Flewwelling) was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Bosomworth (1995). Loving mother of Judith Turnbull and her husband George, Gail Ruetz and her husband Greg, Linda Sanmiya and her husband Richard. Loved grandmother of five granddaughters Julia, Lisa, Michelle, Kelly and Pamela, and five great-grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, Justin, Mark and Brooke. Dear sister of John (Norine) Flewwelling and Gladys Grey. Predeceased by her sisters Mildred and Ila. Lorene was a respected teacher in the Waterloo-Wellington area. She continued to be a loving caregiver to her family and friends for her entire life. Her passions were her family, friends, teaching, sports, bridge, gardening and reading. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception in the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington and would be appreciated by the family.
