Obituary of Norman Hoover
Hoover, Norman ~ Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his home in RR 3, Wallenstein, at the age of 91 years. Norman Hoover was the husband of the late Catherine (Brubacher) Hoover (2012). Father of Paul Hoover of RR 3, Wallenstein, Blendina and Eli F. Bauman of RR 3,Wellesley, Mary Ann and David M. Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein, Lucinda and Levi Frey of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Owen and Ina Hoover of RR 3, Dundalk, Emerson and Catherine Hoover of RR 3, Wallenstein. Survived by 42 grandchildren and 78 great-grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters Edna Martin, Rebecca and Daniel Bauman, Sarah and Daniel Martin, and a brother Tilman and Mary Ann Hoover. Predeceased by his parents Menno and Leah (Martin) Hoover, sons Irvin and Simeon Hoover, daughter Edna Hoover, brothers Martin, Anson, Amos and Abraham Hoover, sisters Mary Bauman and Saloma Martin. Visitation was held at the family home, RR 3, Wallenstein. Burial and service will take place at Martin’s Mennonite Meeting House, RR 3, Wallenstein, on Monday, September 16, 2013. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
