Bearinger, Abner W. ~ Peacefully at his home, RR 1, Elmira on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Husband of Eva (Martin) Bearinger. Dear father of Elo and Pauline Bearinger of RR 3, Moorefield, Eileen and Israel Brubacher of RR 1, Wallenstein, Erma and Frank Bauman of RR 2, Drayton, Mervin and Diane Bearinger of RR 3, Moorefield, Esther and Stuart Horst of RR 1, Elmira. Also survived by 31 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Ivan (Ida) Bearinger, Lovina Bauman, Cleason (Salome) Bearinger, Annie (Emmanuel) Bowman, Edna (Orlan) Martin. Predeceased by his parents Oziah and Susannah (Weber) Bearinger, brother Elam in infancy, sister Lucinda (Noah) Bauman and brother-in-law Leonard Bauman. Friends may call at his home, 2191 Arthur Street North, on Saturday, September 14th from 2-6 p.m. and on Sunday, September 15th from 2-7 p.m. where a family service will be held on Monday, September 16th at 9 a.m. then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further service.
