Obituary of Norine Briere

Briere, Norine ~ Peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 80 years. Norine (Groce) Briere, of Elmira and formerly of Linwood, was the beloved wife of the late Arsene Briere (2002). Dear mother of Barry and his wife Kris of Elmira, Brett and his wife Karen of Cambridge. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kyle and Coryn, Amelia and Shania. Norine will be sadly missed by her niece Gail Lauritson of Cold Water, BC, the Briere family and by her many wonderful friends in the Linwood Community. Sister-in-law of Jeanne Groce of Alliston. Predeceased by her brother Gerald Groce and her sister Delores (Harry) Emmerson. At Norine’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service for family and friends will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Linwood on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Urquhart officiating. In Norine’s memory, donation to the Lung Association of Waterloo Region or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
