Obituary of Joyce Weber

Weber, Joyce ~ Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Chateau Gardens Assisted Living on Monday, July 15, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Joyce Weber (nee MacKay) was the beloved wife of Allan Weber of Elmira. Dear mother of Steven and his wife Lynda of Waterloo, Timothy of Vancouver, Janice Rodgers and her husband Mark of Cambridge, John and his wife Anne of Minnesota. Loved grandmother of Christopher (Sheila), Brandon (Julie Anne), Chantelle, Matthew (fiancée Angela), Terry, Cassy (fiancé Josh), Kayla, and Lindsay. Great-grandmother of Sebastian and Caerwyn. Dear sister of Muriel Brown of PEI. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Daisy MacKay and brother-in-law Joe Wigmore, also her flower girl and niece Judy Hancock and her husband John, all of PEI. She was predeceased by her brothers Elton and Keir MacKay, and her sisters Jean Ramsay, Louise Crossman, and Esther Wigmore. Joyce was involved in adult and children’s ministry, along with her husband Allan, for over 60 years. She and Allan were active members at numerous Bible Chapels and Bible Camps both in Ontario and PEI. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, July 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place at Hawkesville Cemetery on Thursday, July 18 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or HCJB Global.
