Obituary of Eva Jonas

Jonas, Eva May (Schneider) ~ Passed away peacefully at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, May 3, 2013 in her 75th year. Eva Jonas, of Elmira, was the beloved wife of the late Roy Jonas (1990). Loving mother of Jane and her husband Gordon Johnson. Loved grandmother of Ronnie and Mark Johnson, and Benjamin Jonas. Dear sister of Myrtle Schneider. She was predeceased by her daughter Joyce Cross (2000). Eva was the Avon Lady to most of Elmira and she enjoyed all of those 42 years of service. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Trinity United Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
