Obituary of Velina Bowman

Bowman, Velina (Mrs. Elam L.) ~ Peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home, RR 1, Wallenstein, at the age of 93 years. Wife of the late Elam L. Bowman (February 17, 2011). Mother of Esther Bowman of RR 1, Wallenstein, Paul (Adeline) Martin of RR 4, Elmira, Aden (Elsie) Bowman of RR 1, Wallenstein, Anson Bowman of Kitchener, Elmeda (Harvey) Martin, Erla (Amsey) Martin, all off RR 2, Mount Forest, Seleda (Herman) Brubacher and Melinda (Onias) Martin of RR 1, West Montrose. Also survived by 54 grandchildren and 73 great- grandchildren. Sister of Maryann (Sidney) Bowman, Elizabeth (Noah) Bearinger and sister-in-law of Maryann (Manasseh) Wideman, Lucinda (Mahlon) Martin, Clayton and Delilah Bowman. Predeceased by her parents Menno and Elizabeth (Bowman) Wideman, one daughter, Elizabeth Martin, one brother, two sisters, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, one sister in infancy, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of Aden Bowman, 7528 Line 86, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 2-5 p.m. where family service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 9 a.m., then to South Peel Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
