Wideman Rebecca (Mrs. Melvin) ~ Peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her home. Rebecca (Brubacher) Wideman of RR 3, Wallenstein, age 88 years, was the wife of the late Melvin Wideman (1999). Mother of Hannah and Edward Bearinger of RR 1, Wallenstein, Noah and Lydia Wideman of RR 5, Mount Forest, Daniel and Martha Wideman of RR 3, Wallenstein, Mrs. Minerva Martin of RR 1, Mount Forest, Edna and Oscar Bauman of RR 1, Wallenstein. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Sister of Hannah and Enos Weber, Melinda (Clayton) Brubacher, Martha and Henry Frey. Sister-in-law of Solome (Alvin) Brubacher, Sarah (Nelson) Brubacher and Ishmeal (Katie) Weber. Predeceased by her parents Osiah and Veronica (Weber) Brubacher, three sisters, three brothers, and son-in-law Peter Martin (1997). Relatives and friends may call at the home of Daniel Wideman, RR 3, Wallenstein, 3847 Ament Line, on Saturday, March 23rd from 2-5 p.m. and Sunday, March 24th from 2-5 p.m. A family service will be held at the home of Daniel Wideman on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Service Summary Visitation: Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. at the home of Daniel Wideman, RR 3, Wallenstein, 3847 Ament Line ~ Services: Family service will be held at the home of Daniel Wideman on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery
