Obituary of Maynard Brubacher

Brubacher, Maynard ~ Maynard Brubacher, of Elmira, went to be with his Lord suddenly on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the age of 58. He leaves behind his beloved wife Cynthia, nee Mayer, of 38 years. He will be missed greatly by his children Ben (Erin) Brubacher of Fredericktown, Missouri, Phil (Sheila) Brubacher of Sarasota, Florida, Steve (Angie) Brubacher of Sarasota, Florida, and Melanie (Darren) Martin of Elmira. He also leaves behind 24 precious grandchildren. Maynard was the brother of Arlene (Art) McCarthy of Barrie, Sherry (Al) McNabb of Comox, BC, Sandra (Alan) Faulds of Eden Mills, Beverly (Brett) Gaeler of Baden, and Colleen (Dave) Bender of Ayr, and brother-in-law of Bernice Brubacher of St. Jacobs. Predeceased by his parents Abner and Gladys Brubacher, and a brother Richard Brubacher. Interment will take place at Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery, 6772 8th Line West, RR 1, Elora on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
