Obituary of A. Bingham Harris

Harris, A. Bingham “Bing” ~ Passed away peacefully at his home in St. Jacobs on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Bing was the beloved husband and best friend of Georgina (Corman) Harris for 66 years. Dear father of Bob and Heather of Hawkesville, Dane of Ottawa, Ron and Tracey of Strathroy. Loving grandfather of Michael, Nathan, Kristen, Crystal, Melissa, Kevin and Chad. Brother of Ruth Botting of Hanover. Bing is lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Marguerite (Owen) Harris, his brothers Jim and Ross, and his sister Mary Coleman. At Bing’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held at Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Calvary United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
