Obituary of Beatrice Vollmer

Vollmer, Beatrice Marie ~ Peacefully passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Beatrice (Kieswetter) Vollmer of RR 3, Listowel, formerly of St. Clements, was the beloved wife of the late Elgin G. Vollmer (1995). Loved mother of Carol Rashleigh-Berry and her husband Harley of Kitchener, John and his wife Karen of Glen Allan, Wayne and his wife Donna of RR 3, Listowel, Lynn Newell and her husband Steve of Owen Sound, Mary McFadden and her husband Dean of RR 3, Listowel. Loved grandmother of Valerie Droog (Jason), Robert and Ryan Vollmer; Amanda Fonseca (Tony), Rebecca, William and Anthony Vollmer, Sarah and Laura Newell, Madeline, Chloe and Deanna McFadden; and two great-grandchildren Braden and Kian Droog. Also lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Laura Kieswetter of Kitchener. She was predeceased by a grandson Christopher Vollmer (1979), four brothers Hubert, Albert, Ralph and Lloyd Kieswetter, and one sister Rita Brenner. Beatrice was a 60 year member of the C.W.L. and was a member of the St. Clement Christian Mothers’ Society. She had a love for doing puzzles, knitting and reading. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, November 18th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement R.C. Church, St. Clements on Monday, November 19th at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Hesson. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Clement R.C. Church Building Fund or the Lung Association. Service Summary Visitation: Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. ~ Funeral Mass: Monday, November 19, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clement R.C.
