Obituary of Edna M. Martin

Martin, Edna M. ~ Passed away peacefully at her residence in Hawkesville on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Edna Martin (Lichty) was predeceased by her husband Ephraim Martin (2003). She is survived by her children Annie (Harvey) Martin of RR 1, Linwood, Melvin (Salome) of RR 1, Mount Forest, Mary (Abner) Martin of RR 1, St. Clements, John of Hawkesville, Salome (Noah) Gingrich of RR 2, Drayton, Lucinda (James) Martin of RR 2, West Montrose, Barbara (Elam) Martin of RR 1, Wingham, Martha (Cleon) Horst of RR 1, Elmira, Esther (Orvie) Martin of RR 2, West Montrose, Elvina (Eldon) Martin of RR 1, Elmira, and Minerva (Edward) Martin of RR 1, Elmira. Also survived by 75 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, her sisters Erla Martin and Minerva (Enos) Martin, and a brother Cleason Lichty. Predeceased by her parents Isaiah and Ida (Martin) Lichty and a sister Mary Lichty (1947). Friends may call at her home (1072 Geddes Street, Hawkesville) on Tuesday (today) from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and at the home of Eldon Martin (1256 Jessie Place, RR 1, Elmira) on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., where a family service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 9 a.m. then to North Woolwich Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
