Obituary of Lovina K. Martin

Martin, Lovina K. (Brubacher) ~ Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Nithview Home, New Hamburg, in her 95th year. Lovina (Knarr) Martin, formerly of St. Jacobs, was the loving mother of Allan and Melinda Brubacher of Elmira, Esther and Arnold Letson of RR 1, West Montrose, David and Jenny Brubacher of Kitchener, Alice and Dennis Herteis of Millbank, James and Linda Brubacher of Pennsylvania. Lovingly remembered by her 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Sarah Shantz of St. Jacobs. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Mary (Bauman) Knarr, first husband Abraham Brubacher (1973), second husband Rufus Martin (1996), son Harvey (2001), granddaughter Cheryl (1996), brothers Norman and Noah Knarr, and sister Lizzie Brubacher. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. followed by interment in Calvary United Cemetery, St. Jacobs. In her memory, donations to Nithview Home or St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
