Obituary of Abner M. Gingrich

Gingrich, Abner M. ~ Died peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Friday, June 15, 2012 in his 71st year. Abner Gingrich of RR 2, Drayton was the beloved husband of Noreen (Horst) Gingrich. Dear father of Cheryl and Paul Horst of Elmira, Dale and Colleen Gingrich of Linwood, Jeanette and Cleon Martin of Drayton, Nancy and Lewis Weber of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Irene and Melvin Frey of Hawkesville, Salema and Ernie Wideman of Listowel, Edgar and Irene Gingrich of Drayton, Erma Bauman of Hawkesville, Florence and Harvey Bauman of Drayton, Alice and Harold Martin of Gorrie. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Selina (Martin) Gingrich, his parents-in-law Joseph and Sara Horst, and brother-in-law Orlan Bauman. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Sunday, June 17th from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday, June 18th from 2-7 p.m. A family service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 9 a.m. then to Goshen Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Service Summary Visitation: Sunday, June 17th from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday, June 18th from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home ~ Services: Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - Family Service: 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel - followed by Public Service: Goshen Mennonite Meeting House
