Obituary of Tauno Salo

Salo, Tauno Armas (Don) ~ It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces his peaceful passing on Monday, May 21, 2012 at his home in Elmira. Don Salo, age 82 years, of Elmira formerly of Timmins. Beloved husband of Helen (Boucher) Salo. Dear father of Wayne (Jody) Sereres of Elmira, Wendy (Paul) Charlebois of Timmins, and Carol (Dave) Braund of Oakville. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ian (deceased), Joey, Jason, Sarah and Leeanne, and by his seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Arvo Salo of B.C. and Diana (Bill) Parent of Wasaga Beach. At Don’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. In his memory, donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be obtained by contacting the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
