Obituary of Irene Peebles

Peebles, Irene ~ Passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Irene Peebles, of Waterloo formerly of Elmira, at the age of 83 years, joins her husband Ross who predeceased her March 30, 1994. Loving mother of Susan Stroeder of Elmira, David and Sharen Peebles of Elmira, and Tim and Deb Peebles of Winlaw, BC. Proud grandmother of Karl, Phil (Marian), Brian (Carrie) and Brad Stroeder, Traci (Murray) Frey, Robert (Janice) Read, Shandah (Dave) Prang, Jeff (Cari), Jen and Jon Peebles. Great-grandmother of eighteen and great-great-grandmother of two. Dear sister of Bernice Roe of Schomberg, sister-in-law of Ruth (Jack) Turner of Waterloo and Alice (Arthur) Stead of Port Colborne. Predeceased by brothers Stan and Walter Marshall. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, April 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 13th at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the Elmira Union Cemetery. Irene's family thanks the staff of Terrace on the Square in Waterloo for providing Mom with a happy and caring home for the last four years.
