Weber, Violet (Snyder) ~ Peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Palmerston Hospital in her 89th year of RR 1, St. Jacobs, formerly of RR 1, Harriston. Wife of the late Christian Weber (2009). Dear mother of MaryAnne and John Brubacher, Irvon and Minerva Weber all of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Elam and Mary Weber of RR 2, Pembroke, Sara and Ananias Martin of RR 1, Gorrie, Malinda Weber, Lena and Ervin Horst all of RR 1, Newton, David and Maryann Weber of RR 1, Harriston. Also survived by 29 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Minerva Snyder, Lucinda Weber, Noah Martin, Minerva Weber and Ion and Emma Weber. Violet was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents Aaron and Maryann (Martin) Snyder, five brothers, four sisters, stepfather Josiah Brubacher and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of John Brubacher, 1111 Three Bridges Road, RR 1, St. Jacobs on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 1 – 7 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 9 a.m. then to Conestogo Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
