Obituary of Ruth C. Martin

MARTIN, Ruth C. ~ Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Ruth (Eisenbach) Martin age 84 years, of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Harold R. Martin (2004). Dear mother of Reg and Pam Martin of Wiarton, Laurie Grundy of Elmira, and Steven Martin of Costa Rica. Lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister Rita Searth. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Alma (Schmermund) Eisenbach, her son-in-law Joe Grundy (2000), her daughter-in-law Louise Martin (2010) and a brother Earl Eisenbach (1986). At Ruth’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in the chapel at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. In her memory, donations to St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care or Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
