Obituary of Perceda Musselman

Musselman, Perceda “Percy” ~ It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the loss of a very dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, December 12, 2011 in her 80th year. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil in March 1990. Survived by her sisters Aleda (Howard) Reist, Ermina (the late Harvey) Martin, sisters-in-law Violet (the late George) Fulton all of Elmira, and Verta (William) Miller of Windsor. Fondly remembered and sorely missed by many nieces and nephews, their families and long time friend Marj Schweitzer. Predeceased by her parents Amos and Elvina Martin, two sisters and two brothers. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Thursday, December 15, 2011 the casket will remain open at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m. when transfer will take place to the Elmira Union Cemetery for the interment followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 106 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira. Donations in memory of Perceda may be made to Chateau Gardens Auxiliary or the charity of one’s choice. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Norris, Dr. Donna Ward and all the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital and Freeport Palliative Care, and to the staff of Chateau Gardens Assisted Living Centre. Your kindness, care and compassion shown was sincerely appreciated by Perceda and her family.
