Obituary of Ruth Wideman

Wideman, Ruth Elizabeth (Mickus) ~ Passed away peacefully on December 3, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife for 59 years of Ephraim. Loving mother of Lorraine Wideman, Sharon and Chester Martin, Sandra Wall, Karen Wideman, Michael Wideman and partner Joanne Rutherford. Loving grandmother to seven grandchildren. Sister of Viola MacPherson. Sister-in-law to Jean and Ruth Mickus, Mary, Erma and Wilma Martin, Vera and Lucinda Wideman, Milton and Susanna Bauman. Predeceased by her parents William and Martha Mickus, sisters Pearl, Catherine and Christina, brothers Gordon, Kenneth and Karl. Also predeceased by son-in-law Abraham Wall. Ruth’s family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Elora on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus.
