Obituary of William Hall

HALL, William (Bill) Henry ~ July 12, 1919 - October 5, 2011 ~ Peacefully at Lanark Heights LTC, Kitchener, at the age of 92 years. Loving husband of the late Beatrice (Hemmerich) Hall (2010). Loved father of Catharine (David) Smith, David (Jane) and John (Deb). Dear grandfather to Christopher (Kara) Smith, Anna Smith (fiancé Andrzej Kucharczyk), Steven, Kenneth and Donna Hall, Julie and Jason Hall. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Hall. Bill was the youngest son of the late Thomas and Beatrice (Burns) Hall. Predeceased by his brothers Clifford (Margaret) Hall and Ronald Hall, and his sister Irene (1921). The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Monika Wiesner officiating, followed by interment in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Conestogo. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, where he was a member, or a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff at Lanark Heights LTC and Dr. John Mutrie for the compassionate care given to Bill.
