Obituary of Lawrence Frey

Frey, Lawrence Edgar ~ October 13, 1928 – September 19, 2011 ~ Peacefully passed away with his family by his side at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, September 19, 2011 in his 83rd year. Lawrence Frey of Elmira is the beloved husband for 58 years of Eileen Frey (nee Martin). Loving father of Judy and her husband Franco, Ted and his wife Merle, Laurie and her husband Ken, Andrew and his friend Jen. Loved grandfather to Bronwyn, Cressida and Kyle. Dear brother of Gerry and his wife Doris. He is also lovingly remembered by his father-in-law Eli Martin and the Martin family, Lloyd and Delphine, Ruth Ann and Grant, and Delphine. He was predeceased by his parents Ezra and Lydian Frey, a sister Lois in infancy, his mother-in-law Lauretta and a brother-in-law Harold Wideman. Friends will be received at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, September 21st from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Hawkesville Cemetery on Thursday morning, with a public memorial service at Hawkesville Mennonite Church on Thursday, September 22nd at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the MCC African Relief or Mission Aviation Fellowship.
