Obituary of Jerome Fehrenbach

Fehrenbach, Jerome (Happy) ~ Passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at his residence in Linwood at the age of 74 years. Loved husband for 39 years of Shirley Brough (nee Kocher) (Shakey). Father of Doug (Brenda), Ken, and Cathy (Doug) Grein. Stepfather of Janelle (Mark) Brough and Barry (Terry) Brough. Grandfather of Mike and Vicky Fehrenbach, Brad and Steven Grein, Jenni and Jeff Kleinknecht. Great-grandfather of Dawson and Briar Clost. Brother of Bob Fehrenbach and Gerti Bruder. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie Fehrenbach, brothers John Jr., Herb, Lorne and a sister Lorraine Weiler. Jerome worked at Boehmer’s Ready Mix for 45 years. He was a charter member of Linwood Lions Club and a longtime member of the Linwood Rod and Gun Club. Visitation will take place at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Elmira Legion. He will be cremated and a private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Wing or the Linwood Fire Station.
