Obituary of Dorothy Heintzman

Heintzman, Dorothy (nee Vandenberg)~ Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2011 at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 80th year, of Elmira. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Delmer P. Heintzman (August 27, 2010). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Erle and his wife Maya of Kitchener, Glenn and his wife Sharon of Waterloo and Carol Derose of Ottawa. Devoted grandmother to Katherine of Kingston, Stuart of Ottawa, Jill of Waterloo, Alex of Kitchener, Eric of Waterloo and Jacqueline of Kitchener. Dorothy was predeceased by her mother Carol (Craig) Vandenberg, her son Keith (2002), her grandson Philip (1984) and her brother Garfield (2006). At Dorothy’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. In her memory, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
