Peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Countryview Residence, age, 83 years of RR2, Wallenstein. Beloved wife of Urias B. Metzger, loving mother of Oscar and Elma Metzger of Elmira, Leonard and Ruth Metzger of RR2 Wallenstein, Clare and Miriam Metzger of RR2 Wallenstein, Mary and Ernie Weber of RR1 Moorefield, Clifford and Hannah Metzger of RR2 Drayton, Irene and Abner Bauman of RR1 Wroxeter , Erla and Enos Eby of Floradale, Lester and Mary Metzger of RR2 Wallenstein. Also survived by 45 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Cleason and Leona Bauman, 3 sisters Delilah and Clayton Bowman, Mary and Isaac Metzger, Almeda and Alvin Weber. Predeceased by her parents Urias and Hannah Bauman, brothers Josiah and Tilman Bauman, sister Lucinda (Elam) Brubacher, one sister-in-law, Minerva (Frey) Bauman, one brother-in-law Elam Brubacher, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter. Service Summary Friends may call at the home of Lester Metzgers RR2 Wallenstein on Wednesday July 27th (today) from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday July 28th from 2-7 p.m., where funeral services will be held at the home on Friday morning, July 29, at 9 a.m., then to Olivet Mennonite Meetinghouse for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
