Obituary of Grace Mcdonald

Grace Frances McDonald ~ May 11, 1924 – July 12, 2011 ~ Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital in her 88th year, formerly of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Allen Clinton McDonald (2009). Loving mother of David (Darlene) McDonald of Ottawa, Lynn Shillington of Banff, Bruce (Caterina) McDonald of Guelph, and Brent (Anna) McDonald of Dawson City, Yukon. Dear grandmother of Leigh (Andrew) Neys, Erin Shillington; Ryan (Melissa) McDonald, Michael (Marta) McDonald, Anita Grace McDonald; Kaitlin and Scott McDonald; and Kate McDonald. Great-grandmother to Olivia Grace Neys. Grace is lovingly remembered by her brother Arthur (the late Eleanor) Penny of Mississauga. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Charity (Richards) Penny and her brother William (Doris) Penny. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be arranged at a later date. Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Guelph General Hospital, especially nurses Lindi and Kelly.
