Obituary of Doris Bock

Bock, Doris ~ Went peacefully to be with her Saviour on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Chateau Gardens, Elmira, in her 87th year. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ron Bock of Elmira. Beloved mother of Rhonda (Stephen) Klinck of Elmira, David (Deanna) Bock of Waterloo, and Cindi (Allan) Parke of Caledonia. Treasured grandmother of Ian (Ines), Tonja (Lawrence), Rebekah (Andrew), Ben, Abi, Laura, Elliott, Claire, and four great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ron (Betty) Brodrecht and Keith (Marilyn) Brodrecht. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Florence Brodrecht, and two brothers Earl and Ken Brodrecht. Doris was a devoted wife, a dedicated mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend. She was known and admired for her gift of hospitality. She loved and humbly served her family, her friends, and most especially her Lord. Memorial visitation for friends and relatives will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday (today) May 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place at St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. The family wish to express their appreciation to the staff at Chateau Gardens for their loving care of Doris over the past four years.
