Obituary of David G. Brubacher

Brubacher, David G. ~ Passed away peacefully at Countryview Retirement Home, RR 3, Listowel on Monday, May 9, 2011, in his 92nd year. He is survived by his sister Lovina Bauman of RR 4, Elmira. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Willard and Laurene Sherk family. He was predeceased by his parents David and Susannah Brubacher, three brothers Ivan, Cyranus and Ezra Brubacher, three sisters Mary Ann, Elisabeth and Susannah Martin, and two sisters in infancy Lucinda and Leah. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 13th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Elmira Mennonite Cemetery after which a reception will be held at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Global Advance Fund of Christian and Missionary Alliance.
