Obituary of Elmer Freeman

Freeman, Elmer ~ Passed away suddenly as a result of an accident on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (Martin) Freeman of Alma. Dear father of Dale and Gloria (Leis), Darcy and Sandi (Vale), Sheri and Merf (Merlyn) Bauman, all of Alma. Loved grandfather of Erin Freeman and fiancé Ray Blackburn, Alex Freeman and fiancé Racheal Reitzel, Nick, Melissa, Daphne and Mitchell Freeman, Josh, Jared, Jacob and Jonathan Bauman. Brother of Minerva Freeman of Floradale and Naomi Freeman of Listowel. Predeceased by a son Barry, a sister Lucinda and by his parents Irvin and Hannah (Bauman) Freeman. Elmer will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Monday (today) from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place in Bethel Mennonite Cemetery on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 followed by a Memorial Service at Bethel Mennonite Church, RR 1, Elora at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service or Mennonite Central Committee.
