Martin, Allen S. ~ Passed away at his home on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Allen Martin of RR 1, St. Clements, is survived by his children Edwin and Lena of RR 1, Linwood, Catherine and Manassa Bauman of Elmira, Abraham and Mary Ann, Allen and Saloma of RR 1, St. Clements, Israel and Annie, John and Betsy of RR 3, Wellesley, Salome and Edwin Martin of Badjeros, Ontario, Mary Ann and Sylvester Martin, Betsy and Paul Martin of RR 1, Millbank, Lydia and Amos Martin of RR 3, Wallenstein. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one sister Annie Martin of St. Jacobs. Predeceased by his wife Lydia (Sherk) in 1978, his parents John W. Martin and Leah Snyder, seven brothers and four sisters. Burial to take place at Martins Meetinghouse, Ament Line, on April 20, 2011. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
