We think back to the many challenges that Aaron and Jesse shared when working for LM Martin transport. Aaron was a great mentor when it came to trucks and machinery of all kinds. We know he will be missed and we extend our sympathy. Jesse and Shirley Horst

So thankful to have known Aaron! We were fortunate to enjoy a small group with Aaron and Florence a number of years ago and we always appreciated his words of wisdom. Florence, you will miss him dearly. Lynette and Glen, treasure the memories as you look back.
We will be praying for all of you.

I have many happy memories from years ago of working with Aaron as one of the many young guys on the Hoffman haying and threshing gangs – and also as a classmate of Florence at Heidelberg Public School. A great guy!

How many times were we and our missionary family welcomed into your home, Aaron and Florence. We are so indebted. Bible reading around the table after great breakfasts, watching the Gaithers together, playing scrabble and eating popcorn. One of Aaron’s famous phrases was, “ the decisions of life”, and another one, “ Florence knows” showed his respect for his wife and her practical wisdom. He really cared for people and would go “ the extra mile”. We are praying for the family who will miss him greatly, especially Florence. Praise the Lord we grieve but not like those without hope.

Special thoughts and prayers are lifted to our Heavenly Father on your behalf. Thanks to Aaron and Florence for opening their home to me many times when I would be in Canada for visits. It was always fun, especially playing scrabble, doing puzzles, and laughing at Aaron's interesting sayings, one of them comes to mind often. "Children who want to go to heaven must be in bed by eleven" Many memories will be cherished. Also your trip to Puerto Rico. Until we meet again.
