Obituary of Valerie Morris

Morris, Valerie (nee Cesanek)~ Passed away at Chateau Gardens LTC, Elmira on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Valerie Morris is the beloved wife of 58 years of Kevin Morris of Elmira. Dear mother of John Morris (Terry Palmer) and Jane Morris. Loved grandmother of Julien, Sarah and Manya (Eirik) Lange and great-grandmother of Joshua and Noah Orlik, and Eva, Esben and Olivia Lange. Dear sister of Betty Chownyk, Adelaide Sutherland and Bob (Fran) Cesanek. Sister-in-law to Jean Cesanek, Margaret Morris, James (Maize) Morris, Patrick (Marcia) Morris, Helma (Wilfred) Mayne and Mary Lou (Bill) Armstrong. Valerie is survived by dozens of very special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Joseph Cesanek and sister-in-law, Mary and brothers-in-law, Julius Chownyk, Gordon Sutherland, Edmund, Carberry and Jordan Morris. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, March 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Elmira on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. In Val's memory, donations to Waterloo Regional Lung Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The family acknowledges and thanks the entire staff of Chateau Gardens for outstanding care of their parents.
