We’re so sorry for the loss of very dear friend and next door neighbour. You couldn’t ask for more kind, caring and considerate neighbours who would do anything to help out a friend. Joyce was an amazing friend and we spent countless times together walking, chatting, coffees on the back deck, attending Jesse’s fitness classes, along with yoga, tai chi, aqua fit and brain fit classes. Joyce’s love of her life was clearly her family and we shared many awesome grandchildren stories as well as memories of her parents and dear sister Jennifer. Every year at Halloween Joyce and I would dress up on our porches as witches and sit out all night chatting while handing out candy. We shared many times of euchre and dinners together as well as a weekend at our cottage. Joyce had an amazing gift of sewing, knitting and crafting as was evidenced in her making of cloth masks, knitted dishcloths and this past year knitted
pumpkin decorations for Thanksgiving, that she even had a little online business where it was tough to keep up with orders.
We send our love hugs and prayers to Ernie Stephanie and Jeff and their families and pray that all the treasured memories will give strength comfort and peace in days to come. We love you Joyce and you will be soo missed!

I have the fondest memories of Joyce during family visits and as young cousins.
We had so much fun together . As young girls not yet old enough to drive but worked at jobs in Durham
we stayed with Grandma during weekends and summers. Grandma would beg us to stop, we were laughing so hard at jokes or doing routines from the Carol Burnett show. We did not see each other much after high school. We each started careers and married life. Our sincere sympathies to Ernie, Jeff , Stephanie and families.
To Gary, Patrica and Janice you will miss that fun loving sister of yours. May your memories of better times help you all through this difficult time. Hugs to all.

I never had so much fun, as a young boy, visiting the Laughlins! They are the kindest, modest, and most fun-loving family one could ever meet. Joyce herself was the embodiment of all that was good in a human and she, for me, was the epitome of gentleness.
Many blessings to her dear family and my deepest sympathies for your untimely loss.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to ALL in the passing of Joyce – She will be sadly missed by ALL her life has touched – She was a Vibrant, Loving & Caring person whose memories will be cherished by us as many others too – We always enjoyed our times spent together and her short versions of storytelling, that we always ribbed her about – Our road trips together were a blast and our sides were so sore form laughing together – Times like this will be missed but her memories will be with us forever – May the support of Family & Friends be with you and comfort you now and in the days ahead - You are in our thoughts and Prayers – God Bless – Art & Sue Bolduc
