Heartfelt Condolences to the family.
I knew Julie through her work with Home Hardware. Julie was always such a pleasure to deal with. Many of our business conversations would lead to Julie very happily speaking about her family and her travels.
She will be deeply missed.

Julie was one of 5 of us attending Well Fit and forming what we called our 'Dark 'N Stormy' group, which met a number of times per year, rotating who would host a pot luck dinner and movie night. She was a fabulous cook and baker, and was generous in offering her home to host. Wilf often participated in preparing the food which she brought, and/or arranged the goodies on a platter. We all remember when Carrie volunteered with Well Fit - she was a fabulous help to all! And we felt like we knew Ange and her grand-daughters, as Julie was happy to share photos of the family. Julie was quiet, and thoughtful, but her presence was always felt. As Lori said, she was an inspiration to those of us needing a reminder to work hard at exercise. And she was incredibly regular in her attendance. If Julie wasn't in class, you knew something was wrong, or that she was camping with Wilf! Julie was reliable and kind. We all loved her Christmas cookies which she contributed to the annual Well Fit Christmas party, and for a while she and Wilf had a small business offering their cookies to those of us lucky enough to know them. Our lives and the 'Dark 'N Stormy' group is diminished by her loss. She will be much missed.

As one of the "Dark 'N Stormy" group, I would also like to give my condolences to Julie's family. Julie was such a positive person and a joy to be around. Many years ago Julie started arranging dinners at various restaurants and bar-be-ques at her home as well, so that the fitness group would have more social time together, as finding a few minutes between exercises was never enough time. She will be fondly remembered.
