Obituary of Steven B. Horst

Passed away suddenly as a result of a tractor accident on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 20 years.

Steven was the beloved son of Abner and Erma (Brubacher) Horst of Wallenstein. Dear brother of Marlene and James Gingrich of Drayton, Karen and Matthew Martin of Wallenstein, Willis Horst of Millbank, Alice and Ira Weber of Wallenstein, Laverne Horst of Millbank, Maynard and Merlyn at home. Survived by his maternal grandmother Melinda Brubacher, paternal grandmother Anna Horst, six nieces and five nephews. Remembered by Cleason and Janelle Frey.

Predeceased by his brother Lawrence (2018), and his grandfathers Clayton Brubacher and George Horst. 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, January 21, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. at the family home, 4108 Moser Young Rd., Wallenstein. A family service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House, Linwood for burial and further service.
