Jean, Ann, Patti, Dave & the boys, we are so sad to hear Ross passed away.
I think he likely has already had a few cups of coffee with my dad and if we listen close, we may hear them laughing!
Hugs to you all.

Jean, although it has been a few years since we last talked, I am saddened today with the news of Ross's passing. With sadness though comes reflection on a great man's life. For the 20 years that I was lucky to be friends with Ross and a co-worker meant many cherished "counselling" sessions in the dispatch office or at where ever we would stop to eat. Ross and I were stuck over in Chicago for 2 days together with nothing for services other than the local food truck that would stop by. (Ross and I ate well). It was like having my father along with me for the ride! We started work together pretty much the same week and the years flew by quick. I was happy to see Ross retire and walk away from his truck, but not give up trucking. I was glad he had more time for himself and to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jean. Dear Jean and family.
Marilyn and I are deeply saddened and yes shocked by the passing of Ross. We always said Ross would live to be 110 or more as he was always healthy and he never seemed to age! He was always Ross.
When I started my trucking career in 1980 at Weigel Transport I was very fortunate to have met Ross who turned out to be an exceptional role model and mentor for me.Ross would always be upbeat and friendly and would help you out anytime night or day.
Ross was exemplary and outstanding in his dedication in the trucking industry and would go above and beyond to satisfy customers. For any company that Ross signed on with he was like a dream come true for them through safety, dedication, reliability and just being a nice guy!
Ross had a love for trucking and it was his life but you know already Jean that you were always his first love and he cared for you and the children deeply. You guys were always first and foremost in his thoughts.
Marilyn and I were blessed to have known David Ross Arbuckle.
We will sadly miss him and never forget him.

What great man. Thought of the trip the 3 of us [Ross,Dave and I] took out west back in 1968. Don Duff sending us out to the Huderite Farm to help bring new blood to the colony. Boy were we gullible. Our condolences to Jean and the entire family. You had the best husband, father and grandfather that any family could hope for. Carl and Sharion Searle

Jean, we were so very saddened to hear about Ross. His awesome smile and chuckle will be sorely missed. We will miss Ross at our dinners (which we need to do again once this virus settles down), while he physically won’t be with us I’m sure he’ll be watching over us, chuckling at the stories being told. May your memories of Ross get you and your family through this difficult time. Thinking about you.

So sorry to hear of Ross's passing, fairly suddenly. Our favorite memory is a Sunday morning near the end of a church service at Emmanuel, in Elmira. We had our 3 year old grandson with us so were sitting near the back. Suddenly Lukas got away from us and crawled under the pews going forward. After looking at feet and knees, Lukas must have realized that he didn't recognize the knees, so headed back to our pew. When he popped his head up, it turns out he hadn't reached our pew, but was looking at Ross instead! Ross laughed loudly, likely making the pastor wonder what he had said that was so funny. Our prayers and love are with you Jean, Anne, Patti and Families.

Jean and family.
I was so sad to hear of Ross's passing. I have so many memories of serving him breakfast / lunch/ or dinner or even just a coffee at the Shakespeare Truck stop. Then in my truck driving years Ross was always there to listen and give advice when asked. He was always unassuming and caring.
I alway remember the night you and the girls visited us at the farm. It started to snow and Adam was SO concerned you'd get snowed in. His solution was to tell you you should spend the night! Well Ross had an answer for that!! He forgot his pyjamas. Without missing a beat young Adam told him."Don't worry, grown ups don't wear pyjamas" Ross laughed so hard!
Jeannie, It's been so long since we talked and had a coffee together. Please know you're in my heart and prayers. I have fond memories of your precious family. Ann and Patti you are loved. Take care of one another.
Always.

I am so very sorry for your loss and wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was moved to tears reading about your dad - it was the most beautiful obituary. Way to go Andrew for scoring that goal for your Papa. I know it will be a difficult Christmas without your beloved Dad/Papa.
