Obituary of John Robert Joseph Hinschberger
Hinschberger, John R.
Peacefully passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Barnswallow Place Care Community, Elmira at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Betty (Kienzle) Hinschberger.
Predeceased by his first wife Marion (Strome) Hinschberger (2005). Loving father to daughter Tammy (Ron Harper) and son Robert Hinschberger.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chloe Harper; Victoria (Evan Ducharme), Shelby (Scott), Madison, and Tyler. Brother of Len (Norma) Brenner, Marilyn (Ron) Merkle, Joanne (Ron) Dietrich, Gerry (Dorothy) Hinschberger, Rose (Wayne) Forwell, and Mary Haffner.
John will be fondly remembered by Betty’s family, Marion’s family, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Loretta Hinschberger, sister Pat Beaupre and brothers-in-law Ron Beaupre, Bill Haffner and two sons in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, December 6, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira.
A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Clement’s RC Church.
Masks are mandatory; please call the funeral home at 519-669-2207 to register your attendance for the visitation and/or funeral mass.
Donations to St. Mary’s Cardiac Care Center would be appreciated, and can be made through the funeral home.
