Obituary of John Forbes

John Forbes ~ John passed away in Elmira on February 19, 2011 at the age of 83. He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 14 years Waltraud (Trudy) Forbes of St. Jacobs, his brother William (Audrey) Forbes of Stratford and his sister-in-law Patricia Forbes of Montreal. Fondly remembered by his step-children Norman, Gordon, Robert and Timothy Anderson and Diane Pretorius as well as their families. Also by his nieces and nephew Susan, Sandy, Catherine, Robert, Diane and Linda and their families. John was predeceased by his parents John and Agnes Forbes, his brother David Forbes and his niece Patti Forbes. Many thanks to the staff of Chateau Gardens in Elmira for the care and kindness John received there. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 126 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira, Ontario, where John was a cherished member.
