Steele (Schlegel), Barbara Anne
Peacefully passed away at home in Waterloo on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the age of 65, in the arms of her ‘loves’ Becky, Maya and her furbaby Meeka. Loving mother to Rebecca Steele and proud ‘Granny’ to Maya Steele-Indoe. Dear sister of William Schlegel (Shirley) and sister-in-law Peggy Weitzel. Barb will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families, as well as her many wonderful friends.
Predeceased by her parents Albert and Louise (Duke) Schlegel, brother John, and sister Lynda Childerhose.
At Barb’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Glen Allan Cemetery, 7841 Wellington Road 45, Wallenstein, ON N0B 2S0 (Located behind New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship).
Friends and family are asked to bring a lawnchair in order to celebrate Barb with a picnic lunch following the service.
