MARTIN, Simeon B.

Passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the age of 81.

Husband of Ellen Martin. Father of Florence and Edwin Martin of RR 1, Mount Forest, Laurene and Allan Martin of RR 4, Elmira, Phares and Mary Martin, Verna Martin, Lorne and Mary Ann Martin, all of RR 3, Listowel. Grandfather of 24 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and eight step-grandchildren. Survived by sister Lydian (Mrs. Peter) Brubacher, and sisters-in-law Leah (the late Nelson) Martin, and Lizzie (the late Sylvanus) Martin.

Predeceased by his parents Wendel and Elizabeth (Bowman) Martin, one daughter in infancy, one granddaughter, and brothers Nelson and Sylvanus.

Outdoor visitation will take place at the family home, 8326 Perth Line 86, RR 3, Listowel on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2 - 5:30 p.m. and Monday, September 27, 2021 from 2 – 5:30 p.m. Private family service will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 then to Mapleton Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
