David Shantz posted a condolence
Friday, August 27, 2021
Greetings to the family of Anna Mary Cressman,
My wife Susannah and I share our condolences with you. Your mother lived a long a full life and you have received from her a meaningful and lasting inheritance. She has entered into her eternal rest.
My name is David Shantz and my father was Mahlon Shantz. He was a first cousin to your mother. His father was Norman Shantz and your mother's father was Titus Shantz. Norman ( 1876 - 1967 ) Titus ( 1881- 1964 ) were brothers.
I remember my mother talking about the accident in which your father Elton died in 1968.
I realize that the years have passed and the generation of our parents that used to bring us together for family reunions is no longer with us. We still need to somehow keep in contact. Was the service this morning videotaped?
Our e-mail address is davsus09@gamil.com.
We remember and celebrate the life of a gracious person.
Blessings
David Shantz,
Montreal QC

Ruth Huber posted a condolence

The Clarence Huber family has many good memories of the Elton and Anna Cressman family: remembering their excitement over the births of Maynard and then Myron: the thrill of Elton giving us a ride to school in the rumble seat of his car: trying to avoid the tracks of their cutter with our big family sleigh on winter Sunday mornings on our way to church: and the many jars of applesauce that we canned with apples from their apple tree; and the memory list could go on and on! Anna was a gentle, quiet soul and will be deeply missed. Maynard and Myron you are to be commended for the respectful way that you cared for your Mother. May God bless you for that, and our prayers are with you as you commit your Mother back to God.

Maynard and Myron. I was saddened to read about the passing of your mother Anna Mary. It has been many years since our paths have crossed but family connections and memories still remain. Please know that we, Cath and I, are thinking of you as you both mourn and celebrate the life of your mother and remember the many others have gone before. May the grace of God be with you and family in the days ahead.

Dear Maynard and Myron; in this time of loss we want to extend our sympathies. Your mother was a wonderful presence in the community and will be warmly remembered by all. She was a neighbor and friend to four generations of the Foster family from when John's grandparents were trying to get established farming in Peel Township, up to our own children who have many fond memories of her.
