Passed away peacefully at his home in Drayton on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the age of 67.
Beloved husband of Mary (Martin). Loved father of Kenneth and Rosemary of Durham, Karen and Merlin Gingrich of Fordwich, Fredrick and Elaine of Drayton, Charmaine and Steven Frey of New Liskeard, Darlene and Gary Weber of Elmira, and Jeanette and Calvin Frey of Dorking. Loving grandfather of 37 grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert and Elizabeth Martin, Elaine Martin, Calvin and Pauline Martin, Neil and Jean Martin, Harold and Miriam Martin, Gary and Carolyn Martin, Dennis and Christine Martin. Brother-in-law of Lena and Harvey Martin, Erla and Nelson Frey, Phares and Eileen Martin, Esther and Peter Hiebert, Margaret and Maurice Martin.
Predeceased by parents Melvin and Ruby Martin, brother Marvin Martin in infancy, and sister Audrey and her husband Edgar Gingrich.
The family will receive friends and relatives at a walk past, outdoor visitation at Fredrick Martin’s residence, 6875 Sideroad 17, Drayton on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 10 - 11:30 a.m., 1 - 4:30 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Please follow the directions of the attendants, wear a mask, and maintain physical distancing.
There will be a private service at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Goshen Mennonite Meeting House followed by public burial. A public outdoor funeral service will follow at Philip Martin’s residence 7967 8th line, Drayton.
