John Maerz
Passed away suddenly, at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the age of 71 years.
John immigrated from Germany as a child, lived in the West Montrose area all his life, on the family farm, which he took over after his parents passed away. John was also a truck driver at Beresford Box. Always a kind and gentle man for all those who knew him.
John leaves behind his son, John Maerz (Terri-Anne) and grandchildren Ava and Alyssa. John is predeceased by his father and mother, John and Katherine Maerz. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friends. At John's request, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. In John's memory, donations to Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated and can be made through the Dreisinger Funeral Home.
