Michelle was a bright light. Her smile was warm, her laugh infectious, her hands generous. She was a spark of energy and enthusiasm everywhere she went. Incredibly hard-working at various Working Centre projects, she always had a moment to bring us gifts of candy and freezies.
Michelle, thank you for all you shared of yourself with us. I will miss you, and will always remember you and your friendship.

Her outward presentation of chaos was betrayed by Michelle's handwriting,
which demonstrated some of the most orderly script that I have seen.

Michelle brought so much light to The Working Centre garden. I will miss her. Some memories I have: Her energy and willingness to help. Her skill at the garden work, and the love she brought to it. Her kindness- always bringing us freezies on a hot day. A special memory I have of her is that she guessed I was pregnant before anyone else at the garden, she seemed to have some intuition about that. And also when she braided my hair.

I came to know Michelle through The Working Centre and she added something really special to my life. Michelle has a way of making your heart feel warm when you are with her. She and I would joke and giggle at the garden, I don't really remember what about, I just remember the laughter. She cared deeply for people, always offering a helping hand and sharing her knowledge and skills... I felt so supported by her. Her passing came as a huge shock and I don't think it has really sunken in yet. Thank you Michelle, for sharing your love with this world.

I am shocked, very saddened and have shed many tears by Michelle's passing, even as I write this. I got to know Michelle 6 years ago when I hired her to clean my little apartment. It was a big job. I was having my first knee surgery and I wanted the place to be pristine. Did I even need to worry about it? No! It was better than pristine if that's even possible. I was always thrilled with her work and feel blessed with the 'way too short' friendship that developed as a result of our meeting. Many times we sat out front of TWC having a coffee and sharing many laughs. She loved to laugh and so did I. It was how she approached life; full of humour, boundless energy and unending enthusiasm. It is very difficult for me to now express my grief and unhappiness at her passing. Her death. She was my Darling Little Dynamo. I cannot truly express how I am feeling. RIP Michelle.

I am so sorry that Michelle has passed away. She was a generous and loving person and I enjoyed knowing her. I always called on her to do cleaning for us at The Working Centre and she did that work with great commitment and enthusiasm. We will miss her very much. May her memory be a blessing for us all.
