I remember Carolyn to be a kind lady, a loving mother, and an example for us all. She was a true Christian and for that she has gone on to a better place. I got to know and love Carolyn when we started attending Emanuel Missionary Church. I was invited to join a ladies trio who needed an alto. Carolyn was the accompanist. For the next 15 years Carolyn, Doreen Martin, Linda Freeman and myself, Joyce Gaessler met regularly to practice. We called ourselves Unity Trio. We always started by catching up with each other, we called it therapy group. Carolyn had the hardest job as the arrangements were not the easiest, you would here her sigh when she made a mistake and then persevere on. Carolyn you were a great lady and I am honoured to call you friend. My sincerest sympathies to David and family, you meant everything to Carolyn. Love and prayers, Joyce and Ernst Gaessler

One of my first memories of Mrs. Playford was as she stood at the front of my class reading 'The Secret Garden' from a big red book. Such a wonderful surprise meeting her many years later at Woodside Bible Fellowship. She taught both my brother Scott and I at Victoria Public School. Such a kind, gentle teacher. Our sympathies to your family.

We were shocked and saddened to read of Caolyn's passing. Such a beautiful lady who I'm sure was loved by everyone! I remember when her Granddaughter Kara was born and Caroline was so tickled that Kara Lynn's name was so much like her own. I can aim to listen to the service on Wednesday, but Ralph will be working and I'll be out of town on Tuesday. Our prayers will be with the whole family as you miss Carolyn, but know she is free of pain and at peace in Heaven.
