Obituary of Gwen Wilbur

Wilbur, Gwen ~ Passed away at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener after a brief struggle with cancer on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the age of 75. Gwen Wilbur (nee Yuill) is the beloved wife of the late Meryle Wilbur (1999). Dear mother of James, Gail, Bill, Patty and Mike. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents James and Myrtle Yuill and a sister Frances Jarvis. Gwen was an RN and for over 25 years worked at Freeport. At Gwen’s request there will be no visitation or service. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
