John, Rita, Laura and all your brothers and sisters, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you deal with the passing of your mom. I remember her as a truly kind and gentle women. Whenever your mom visited Baie Verte, after moving to Ontario to be close to her children, and we had the privilege of visiting, she always welcomed us with a smile and open arms to give us a hug. While giving some thought to writing a tribute to Lucy I came across the following poem by an unknown Author and wish to share it with you all as it truly reflects an image of your mom: Loving Memories (Your Gentle Face) Your gentle face and patient smile With sadness we recall, You had a kindly word for each And died beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart That loved us well and true, Ah, bitter was the trial to part From one so good as you. You are not forgotten loved one Nor will you ever be, As long as life and memory last We will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore, As time goes by we miss you more.
