Obituary of Vietta Martin

Martin, Vietta ~ Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in her 75th year, of Elmira. Dear sister of Elsie Brubacher of Floradale, Melvin and Ruby Martin of RR 2, Drayton, sister-in-law of Verna Martin of RR 2, West Montrose and Naomi Martin of RR 2, Elmira. Lovingly remembered by her 45 nieces and nephews, 177 great-nieces and nephews, also numerous great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Moses M. and Rebecca Martin, five brothers Orval, Cleason, Clarence, Edgar, Eden, one brother-in-law David H. Brubacher, three sisters-in-law Elsie, Mary Ann and Irene. Also predeceased by two nieces and two nephews. The family will receive their friends and relatives on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, where a family service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 9 a.m. then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Service Summary Visitation: Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira ~ Services: A family service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
